Congratulations to Clark Crabtree for making a Hole-in-One on the Links Hole 13 on June 19, 2023, using an 8 iron at 131 yards. Other golfers in the Gaggle Golfer Group that have also achieved a Hole-in-One include: Mike Kenna, Steve Peoples, Naz Selman, Tim Hernandez, Ven Holalkere, Ken Olson, Dick Nuse, John Christiansen, and Frank Camodeca.

The Gaggle Golfers Men’s Group is an inclusive group of local men, which aims to provide enjoyable and challenging golf to our members of all skill levels. The group currently enjoys a block of morning tee times on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at The Golf Course at Hawks Prairie. Normally, we contribute $4.50 to a payout pot each game day and an additional nominal amount for skins payout. USGA Rules govern all play with the exception of published local rules specific for this group, which is to assist in speeding up the play and accommodate the demographics of the group. The World Handicap System (WHS) includes the Rules of Handicapping and the Course Rating System and will govern the handicap rules.

Come out and join us as we always WELCOME new golfers. Although not a requirement to participate, many of us are prior service military. During March 1 through late October, we have established Tee Times on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie starting at about 7:30 a.m. During October through February, the starting Tee Times begin at about 8:30 a.m. You should arrive about thirty minutes earlier. Groupings are randomly drawn each golf day depending upon the number of golfers showing up that day. We generally alternate throughout the summer months between the two Hawks Prairie courses – The Woodlands and The Links. The Woodlands course is closed during the winter months.

There is no fee to belong to the group. Just show up. There is an expectation to participate in the payout pot and skins. It is your responsibility to pay the green fees to the golf course. The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie has various Annual Golf Plans that will fit your golfing habits.
